Here is your first date for your calendar - we invite you to take part in our Green Party (member and supporter) picnic in Kowhai Park on the Sunday 9th April from 11am to 1pm, with a shared BBQ lunch - we will provide sausages and bread.
You will have the opportunity to meet our local Green Party candidate Nicola Patrick.
The other campaign co-manager Heather Perry and myself will introduce you to our schedule for April and May. We are organising events in a way that we will be able to promote our Green Party but will have some fun and socialise as well.
We have already a good number of volunteers, however we always need more :-) to distribute the workload during the campaign. If you know a friend or a family member here in Whanganui, or in Patea or Hawera, who can help during our campaign please bring them to our picnic or forward their name and email address to me and I will contact them.
Please RSVP as we can plan ahead. And keep an eye on our Whanganui Green Party Facebook page, as we will create an event as well.
Come and help on the stall, or come and visit us to talk to wide range of the community about the Greens. This is the biggest day in teh West Auckland Greens calendar and we've been in attendance for over 10 years straight. Don't miss it http://www.ecomatters.org.nz/event/ecoday/
